NMA staff have collectively completed hundreds of site assessments, helping many organizations successfully improve their security and readiness levels. We know that the task of improving safety presents its own unique challenges. Although many facilities could benefit from upgraded security procedures and physical precautions, we realize they must still be able to operate as functional institutions.

Safety and Security Trainings
Comprehensive training of staff is one of the most important and effective means of improving the overall safety of an organization. Well-trained leaders and employees increase the chances of identifying and avoiding risks, and improve the effectiveness of internal crisis response. Conversely, untrained staff are much less likely to know how to react properly in an emergency, and this can ultimately result in losses, injuries, and even death.
Our training classes are taught by seasoned, professional safety practitioners and are tailored specifically to each audience. The common theme to all of our training is increasing individual and collective safety through improved proactive Situational Awareness skills. Courses follow a logical progression in order to expose attendees to common workplace emergencies as well as the threats and patterns often displayed during the planning stages and execution of crimes.
These key concepts are reinforced through a variety of instructor-led classroom lessons and practical workshops, all based on your organization’s own policies and procedures. This results in attendees developing an increased awareness of their surroundings, and greater knowledge of their vital role in creating a safer work environment.
